Sheba & Deloitte Partnership
During the ARC Innovation Week Summit, two pivotal agreements were signed that signified a milestone for Sheba’s ongoing commitment to driving transformative change in healthcare.
The Center for Social Medicine
In recent decades, Israel has seen an influx of immigrants from Africa and South Asia, who not only suffer from a lack of access to Israel's healthcare system but are forced to deal with cultural and linguistic barriers. Aiming to address this issue, Sheba established The Social Clinic in 2010, a volunteer-based medical facility funded by donations.
PureHealth & Sheba Medical Center Partnership
Another significant agreement was signed between Sheba and UAE’s PureHealth, the largest integrated healthcare system in the Persian Gulf.
Sheba’s 2023 Annual Gala Event
In a culmination of Sheba’s 75th-anniversary celebration, the medical center’s leaders joined friends, partners, and supporters from around the world to rejoice in a memorable gala, which honored the vital activities of our Transplant Unit.
Friends of Sheba Week
To commemorate Sheba Medical Center's 75th anniversary, a special Friends of Sheba delegation embarked on a nine-day visit to Israel.
Why Sheba?
The Canadian Friends of Sheba Medical Center is a registered charity based in Toronto committed to supporting the vital work of Sheba Medical Center, a global healthcare leader and the largest, most comprehensive hospital in Israel as well as the Middle East.
In addition to raising awareness and philanthropic support for Sheba’s humanitarian initiatives, compassionate care, cutting-edge research, and medical education activities, we are proud to serve as the medical center’s Canadian ambassador, helping foster collaborations that serve the people of Canada, Israel, and the world.
It has been a privilege to contribute to Sheba’s transformative global efforts, and with your help, we will continue doing so for the benefit of patients everywhere.
