Shani Avital, a four-year-old warrior from Kibbutz Re’im, was diagnosed with grade 4 Glioblastoma at just two years old. From as early as she remembers, Shani’s life has been a relentless battle against brain cancer, with regular treatments at Safra Children’s Hospital at Sheba. Her challenging journey took a dramatic turn on October 7th, amid the attacks on her Kibbutz. As her father valiantly defended their home, Shani and her family found refuge in their safe room, Following the horrors of that day, Shani and her family were uprooted from their home and relocated to Eilat, complicating her access to critical medical care.

Shani’s battle transcends her illness; it is a story of confronting the harsh realities of conflict and displacement with unwavering resilience.
